Soccer Recap: Stone Memorial Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Stone Memorial was not quite Karns's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 2-1.

Stone Memorial's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Karns, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Memorial will face off against Watertown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Karns, they will take on Knoxville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Knoxville Central's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
