Baseball Recap: Cocoa Comes Up Short

Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Merritt Island Mustangs. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 20-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cocoa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Merritt Island, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Cocoa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against Brevard HEAT on the 1st. As for Merritt Island, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Satellite on the 1st.
