Basketball Game Preview: Howe Bulldogs vs. S & S Consolidated Rams

The Howe Bulldogs will face off against the S & S Consolidated Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Howe had to suffer through a 86-21 loss at the hands of Gunter. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, S & S Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 79-22 defeat at the hands of Gunter. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1196th, while the Tigers are ranked 91st).

S & S Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Howe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Howe skirted past S & S Consolidated 45-43 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will Howe repeat their success, or does S & S Consolidated have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
