Basketball Game Preview: Benjamin Franklin Falcons vs. Hammond Tornadoes

The Benjamin Franklin Falcons will square off against the Hammond Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Benjamin Franklin will be strutting in after a win while Hammond will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Benjamin Franklin didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against South Lafourche, but they still walked away with a 64-58 victory.

Hammond kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. The Tornadoes have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Benjamin Franklin will have to contain Terran Perry as he made an impact in Hammond's last game. He shot 44% from the field to rack up 24 points. Zaylin Elzy was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Benjamin Franklin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
