Basketball Recap: Gibault Catholic Falls Despite Big Games from Kamille Grohmann and Karmon Grohmann

Gibault Catholic suffered their closest defeat since December 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Steeleville Warriors by a score of 40-37. The Hawks' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Gibault Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Karmon Grohmann, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards, and Kamille Grohmann, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Karmon has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.
