Basketball Recap: Alleluia Community Extends Winning Streak to Five

Alleluia Community came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Providence Classical Christian Warriors with a sharp 52-27 victory. With that win, the Angels brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Alleluia Community was led to victory by Alley McBride and Lucy Krementz. McBride posted 21 points, while Krementz had 16 points. The matchup was McBride's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Alleluia Community's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Providence Classical Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Alleluia Community has already played their next contest, a 69-37 win against Coastal HomeSchool on the 18th. As for Providence Classical Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Academe of the Oaks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
