Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Wins for Eastbrook

There's no place like home for Eastbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 56-52 victory over the Daleville Broncos on Tuesday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 66-62 win the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Eastbrook's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bodie Howell, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Howell has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Reid Aupperle, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Eastbrook smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Daleville still got an impressive performance from Hunter Suchyna, who went 9 of 16 en route to 23 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Josh Wilson was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Eastbrook pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game.
