Haslett came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Williamston Hornets. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Hornets are ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Haslett's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Williamston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haslett will head out to challenge East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williamston, they will venture away from home to square off against Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
