Saint Joseph Valley recap November 5, 2013

Mendon added to the longest winning streak in Saint Joseph Valley this week by beating Eau Claire, 67-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Hornets.

Mendon took down the Beavers 67-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Robert Riley threw for 147 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 14 yards during the win.

John Schwartz's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Kaleb Mccarrol chipped in 133 yards. Elijah Klepper helped Mendon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 63 yards.

The Hornets' dynamic duo of Riley and Kyle Wiswell proved tough for Eau Claire to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Klepper helped Mendon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 63 yards.

Mendon's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Medich has thrown for 840 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Klepper has 17 catches for 341 yards.

White Pigeon made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,906 from 11,056.
