Flanagan lost to Somerset Academy back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Falcons came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

While Flanagan might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Somerset Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 24-26, 25-18, 25-20.

Elijah Hill paced Flanagan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hill got some help from Samuel Suarez and his 23 assists. Hill was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Flanagan's record is now 5-8. As for Somerset Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Flanagan has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Miramar on the 14th. As for Somerset Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Avant Garde Academy on the 14th.
