Soccer Recap: Denbigh Takes a Loss

Denbigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kecoughtan Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Denbigh of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Denbigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Kecoughtan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denbigh will welcome Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kecoughtan, they will be playing at home against Gloucester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kecoughtan will need to watch out since Gloucester have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
