Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Baldwin Park Braves.

While Pioneer ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-27, 25-22, 25-23.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baldwin Park, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will head out on the road to square off against St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baldwin Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chaffey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
