Grantsville is 8-2 against Ogden since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cowboys will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in Grantsville's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.

Last Friday, Grantsville made easy work of Kearns and carried off an 18-5 win. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Payton Cummings was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Cummings was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Jordan Fawson was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Easton Webb was another key player, scoring three runs while going 4-for-5.

Grantsville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Ogden came up short against Stansbury on Saturday, falling 13-4. The Tigers have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Ogden saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Piper, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Grantsville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Ogden, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Grantsville beat Ogden 10-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
