Volleyball Recap: Camelback Find Success

Camelback proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the South Mountain Jaguars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since March 7th.

Camelback took South Mountain into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-27, 15-12.

Camelback's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for South Mountain, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Camelback didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Apollo on the 14th. As for South Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Browne on the 15th.
