Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lone Peak came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Skyridge Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lone Peak got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 26-24, 20-25, 15-13.

Brady Holt paced Lone Peak's offense, picking up 20 kills. Holt got some help from William Dayton and his 36 assists.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Skyridge, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Lone Peak has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against American Fork on the 26th. As for Skyridge, they will square off against Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
