Mater Dei waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Quincy Blue Devils. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Marlie Haag paced Mater Dei's offense, picking up seven kills. Haag got some help from Addison Nenninger and her 16 assists. Nenninger also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hailey Klostermann, each putting up two.

Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Quincy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-2 record.

Mater Dei wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Waterloo on the 4th. As for Quincy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gateway Legacy Christian Academy on the 4th.
