Volleyball Recap: Ironwood Ridge Takes Down Arcadia in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ironwood Ridge walked away with it. They came out on top against the Arcadia Titans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Nighthawks, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

Ashlyn Quiri paced Ironwood Ridge's offense, picking up 24 kills. Quiri got some help from Lydia Litkenhus and her 47 assists. Litkenhus also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubrey Schultz, each putting up two.

Ironwood Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 23-15. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-13.

Ironwood Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against ALA - Gilbert North on the 10th. Arcadia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
