Volleyball Recap: Vermont Commons Falls Short Against Ranked Randolph

Vermont Commons faced Randolph in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Vermont Commons lost 3-0 to Randolph. The loss continues a trend for Vermont Commons in their meetings with Randolph: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 25-20.

Ro Dougherty-Mas? paced Vermont Commons' offense, picking up four kills. Dougherty-Mas? also shared the team's lead in assists with Autumn Ables: they picked up three each. Finally, Nina DeNapoli kept Vermont Commons' defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Vermont Commons' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Randolph, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
