Basketball Recap: Strathmore's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Strathmore lost against Granite Hills back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Strathmore Spartans took a 47-29 bruising from the Granite Hills Grizzlies. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Strathmore's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9. As for Granite Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Strathmore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-26 win against Washington Union on the 25th. As for Granite Hills, they will square off against Woodlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Hills is facing Woodlake at the right time seeing as Woodlake is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
