Soccer Game Preview: Gertz-Ressler vs. Torres

The Gertz-Ressler Pumas will venture away from home to challenge the Torres Toros at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gertz-Ressler will be strutting in after a win while Torres will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Gertz-Ressler was able to grind out a solid victory over University Prep Value, taking the game 4-2. Devin Barrios was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Torres didn't have quite enough to beat Stern on Thursday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Torres have lost by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Gertz-Ressler and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Torres, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.
