Soccer Recap: South Atlanta Comes Up Short

South Atlanta lost against Columbia back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Atlanta Hornets fell 2-0 to the Columbia Eagles. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

South Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Columbia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Atlanta will welcome Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Atlanta will be up against Miller Grove's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Columbia, they will host Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
