There's no place like home for The Klahowya Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They breezed by East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] at home to the tune of 49-20. For Klahowya, this counts as revenge for the 18-13 loss East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Jackson Kealoha was his usual excellent self, throwing for 189 yards and four touchdowns. Kealoha is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan West, who picked up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Klahowya's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points per game. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Klahowya will head out on the road to face off against Sultan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], they will be playing at home against Bellevue Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
