Basketball Recap: Harlan County Takes a Loss

Harlan County was the 69-49 winner over Clay County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Harlan County Black Bears took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay County Tigers on Saturday.

Harlan County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Clay County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlan County will welcome Knott County Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clay County is facing Somerset at the right time seeing as Somerset is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
