It's playoff time, and Warrensburg-Latham had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 47-43 W over the Lawrenceville Indians on Wednesday. The Cardinals are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.

Despite the loss, Lawrenceville still got an impressive performance from Zander Cessna, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. Cessna's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Goff, who posted five points and eight boards.

Warrensburg-Latham's record now sits at 30-4. As for Lawrenceville, they moved to 24-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Warrensburg-Latham will face off against Teutopolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Teutopolis will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Warrensburg-Latham surely won't give up without a fight. Lawrenceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
