Softball Recap: East Carteret Mariners vs. Southside Seahawks
There's no place like home for East Carteret, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Southside Seahawks on Tuesday. The Mariners not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 23-5).
Amilya Lewis made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Lewis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
