Soccer Recap: Wayland Comes Up Short

Wayland's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Norwell Clippers by a score of 1-0. If Wayland were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Norwell when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Wayland and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1. As for Norwell, their record is now 11-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland will take on Acton-Boxborough at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norwell, they will face off against Carver at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
