Volleyball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Loss

Racine Case and Kenosha Tremper squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Racine Case had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Kenosha Tremper scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-27, 25-19.

Kenosha Tremper can attribute much of their success to Dylan Simonis, who had 18 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Simonis has posted since back in September.

Racine Case's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Kenosha Tremper, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

Racine Case does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will venture away from home to face off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
