Football Recap: Cathedral Prep Ramblers vs. Farrell Steelers
Cathedral Prep extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They had to suffer through a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Farrell Steelers. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Steelers are ranked 67th).
As for Farrell, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Farrell was led to victory by Juelz Johnson and AAron Pegues. Johnson rushed for 120 yards on only 14 carries, while Pegues rushed for 66 yards on only seven carries. Johnson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.
As of now, neither Cathedral Prep nor Farrell have any future games scheduled.
