Football Recap: Cathedral Prep Ramblers vs. Farrell Steelers
Cathedral Prep extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were outmatched by the Farrell Steelers and fell 46-7. The Ramblers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Davin Friedman threw for 145 yards on 11 of 29 attempts. Matthew Oblich was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards. On the ground, Ramir Wallace rushed for 70 yards.
As for Farrell, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.2 points.
Farrell was led to victory by AAron Pegues and Juelz Johnson. Pegues rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries, while Johnson rushed for 120 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
