Basketball Recap: Clarinda Comes Up Short

Clarinda lost against Harlan back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clarinda Cardinals took a blow against the Harlan Cyclones, falling 53-22. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clarinda's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Harlan, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clarinda Cardinals duke it out with the Creston Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarinda is facing Creston at the right time seeing as Creston is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Harlan, they will head out to square off against Lewis Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
