Rancho Cotate's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 37-7 win over the Santa Rosa Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.

One reason for the win was Rancho Cotate's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Abby Ramirez was the leader with three. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times she's played.
