Volleyball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe was the 3-0 winner over Hokes Bluff when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Glencoe still got an impressive performance from Gracyn Bunt, who had 12 digs. Bunt has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Hokes Bluff, they moved to 6-13 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West End on the 4th. As for Hokes Bluff, they will head out to challenge Ashville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
