Basketball Recap: Lake Area HomeSchool Sports Takes a Loss

Lake Area HomeSchool Sports was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles, falling 55-10. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-6.

Bishop Noland Episcopal Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Machen Cox, who made all 5 shots he took for 10 points. Another player making a difference was Oliver Strang, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Lake Area HomeSchool Sports' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lake Area HomeSchool Sports will venture away from home to take on Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they will welcome Acadiana Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.
