Basketball Recap: TECH Freire Charter Sets Scoring Season-High Against Prep Charter

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask TECH Freire Charter). They walked away with a 68-60 win over the Prep Charter Huskies on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Dragons who have now won three matches in a row.

TECH Freire Charter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Prep Charter, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. TECH Freire Charter will venture away from home to square off against Mastery Charter South co-op [Mastery Charter Lenfest/Mastery Charter Thomas] at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prep Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
