Soccer Recap: Lakeview Centennial Takes a Loss

Lakeview Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Wylie Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 727th, while the Pirates are ranked 138th).

Lakeview Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18-1. As for Wylie, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-3 record this season.

Lakeview Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wylie, they have already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Wylie East on the 14th.
