Basketball Preview: Calloway County Lakers vs. Lyon County Lyons
Calloway County has gone 4-0 against Lyon County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Calloway County Lakers will take on the Lyon County Lyons at 1:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Calloway County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Taylor County just ended the team's 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Cardinals 62-56.

Calloway County strolled past Lyon County when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 68-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calloway County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
