Soccer Recap: Central Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Laguna Beach Breakers on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by just one goal.

Joseph Rosas and Mishel Villanueva scored both of Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 60 goals.

Central's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-2. As for Laguna Beach, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Central will head out to square off against Pacific Ridge at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pacific Ridge will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Central surely won't give up without a fight. Laguna Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
