Bellingham extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Sophia Soto. Everything went the Blackhawks' way against the Medway Mustangs on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Soto, who had 14 digs and 11 aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bellingham was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-10.

Bellingham's record now sits at 12-1. As for Medway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Bellingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Winchester on the 10th. As for Medway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Sutton on the 10th.
