Softball Recap: Brownstown/St. Elmo Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Brownstown/St. Elmo's offense. They came up short against the Dieterich Movin Maroons on Monday, falling 15-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Movin Maroons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Brownstown/St. Elmo and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Dieterich, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Dieterich, they will square off against Neoga at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dieterich is facing Neoga at the right time seeing as Neoga is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
