Basketball Game Preview: Gladstone Gladiators vs. Rainier Columbians

The Gladstone Gladiators and the Rainier Columbians will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rainier took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gladstone, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row dating back to last season, Gladstone turned things around against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-27 win over the Mustangs. The Gladiators' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-17, which was the final score in Rainier's tilt against Jefferson on Friday. The Columbians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gladstone's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Rainier, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
