Gabriella Diaz Game Report: @ Valley Central

Middletown found a leader in Gabriella Diaz as the squad took down Valley Central on Monday. Diaz did her part (and then some), scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances for the 'W'. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season.

Looking ahead, Diaz and Middletown will venture away from home to square off against Monroe-Woodbury at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will enter the matchup having just beaten Kingston, so the Middie Bears will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
