Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge came into this matchup off a tough nine-run defeat last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Hancock Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Miners' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mountain Ridge and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Hancock, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
