Softball Recap: Walla Walla Comes Up Short

Walla Walla lost to Hermiston back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 13-3 to the Bulldogs. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn White made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Marissa Balderas also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Walla Walla's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Hermiston, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Walla Walla by a score of 17-13 later that day.
