Softball Recap: Scott City Takes a Loss

Scott City lost against East Prairie two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams lost 12-2 to the Eagles. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyvia Karrenbrock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Scott City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for East Prairie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Scott City and East Prairie will both be playing New Madrid County Central the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
