Basketball Recap: Lemon Bay Manta Rays vs. Port Charlotte Pirates

The matchup between Lemon Bay and Port Charlotte on Tuesday hardly resembled the 47-16 effort from their previous meeting. The Manta Rays took a hard 62-48 fall against the Pirates. The Manta Rays were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in January.

Lemon Bay's loss came despite strong showings from James White and Luke Brown. White shot 45% from the field to rack up 14 points, while Brown posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandt Arthur, who had four points and five boards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Port Charlotte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dallas Lambert, who went 8-for-20 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Teegan Ryan, who earned 14 points.
