Basketball Recap: Bethesda Christian Falls Short of Rossville in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bethesda Christian can now relate to. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rossville Hornets on Wednesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rossville found their leader in sophomore Brayden Thiele-Hahn, who shot 50% from the field en route to 19 points and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Thiele-Hahn has scored at least a third of Rossville's points. Lucas Saylor was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 10 points and five boards.

Bethesda Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Rossville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Bethesda Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rossville, they will square off against Clinton Prairie at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Prairie will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Rossville surely won't give up without a fight.
