            Volleyball Recap: Littlestown Thunderbolts vs. Fairfield Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Littlestown had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Fairfield Knights 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbolts also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14,  25-20.

Littlestown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Allison Cassatt led the charge by  getting six  aces and three  digs. Those  six  aces gave  Cassatt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Sarah Loveless, who  had five  aces and one  assist.
 They weren't the only good server: Littlestown  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 26  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Littlestown now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littlestown will take on Shippensburg at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Fairfield, they will face off against Bermudian Springs at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
