LaFayette entered their tilt with Gilmer on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Tuesday.

Makenna Clarke paced LaFayette's offense, picking up ten kills. Clarke got some help from Jaslyn Capello and her 20 assists. Capello was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

LaFayette's win bumped their record up to 27-7. As for Gilmer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

LaFayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Calhoun on the 16th. After both having extra time off, Gilmer and Flowery Branch will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th.
