Baseball Recap: Bedford Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Bedford hadn't done well against Forest Hills recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Bedford came out on top in a nail-biter against Forest Hills, sneaking past 5-4. This was payback for the Bisons, who suffered a 5-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bedford's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gaston Watkins, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Quincy Swaim was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Bedford pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Forest Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
