Easley and Greenwood are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Green Wave will square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Easley's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Easley's offense. They lost 15-0 to Westside on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Greenwood earned a 6-1 win over J.L. Mann on Tuesday.

Easley's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Greenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.

Easley came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenwood when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
