If Crossroads was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Rolling Hills Prep on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roadrunners fell 7-4 to the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Wednesday. The Roadrunners' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Jake McCaffrey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Deutch, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Crossroads' defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Redondo Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Crossroads nor Redondo Union have any future games scheduled.
